I went to this event a couple of years back, it's a nice place to fly, easy to get to and there were more attractions there. Recommended!

A pleasure to attend this meet to support KKF and Medway council . Thankfully the weather was kind rain free and beautiful sunshine all day. Frank Daphne myself and Sandra attended alongside a good showing of Kent Flyers and Tim Rohn the dragon flyer who attended LM festival but no dragons today. There was the usual unstable winds over the trees and below tree level low ground winds making flying the lifters and line laundry challenging but a good show was put on between the tangles and the stick kite flyers gave a good showing of flow tails, box kites & delta's .
After lunch the crowds increased as families came out to enjoy the day and fly their kites. KKF did well with their kites stall selling Children's kites and the Parkinson's. charity stall was hiring out kites for the public to fly so the sky was quite full.
Other attractions included bike skill displays, climbing tower, hover craft display, craft stalls, food and charity stalls. Well done to Medway council for putting on the event
